The Institute is pleased to host its annual public lecture, delivered this year by Dr. Hanan Al-Mansouri, Executive Director of Jathwa Institute. The lecture will examine constitutional design under stress: the procedural and structural features that condition resilience when constitutional systems are sustained pressure.

The lecture will draw on Dr. Al-Mansouri's recent comparative work on emergency-powers regimes and judicial independence, and will be followed by an open discussion.

Format

60-minute lecture followed by 45 minutes of open discussion. The event is open to the public; registration is requested for capacity planning.
