The Institute hosts a two-day workshop on the methodology of comparative legal research. The workshop is structured around case studies and supervised exercises, with attention to the practical decisions comparative researchers face: case selection, source discipline, translation, and the institutional conditions under which comparative claims can be warranted.

Audience

The workshop is open to researchers, practitioners, and graduate students with prior exposure to comparative work. Numbers are limited; selection is by application.
